Why See Milwaukee Ballet - Beauty and The Beast?
Beauty and The Beast
A tale as old as time presented by Milwaukee Ballet for all the family to enjoy. Michael Pink tells the fantasy fairytale of Belle and the Prince - who was transformed into a Beast by an enchantress' spell.
What is Beauty and The Beast about?
Belle is a bright and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in its castle. Despite her fears, she looks beyond the beast's frightening exterior and befriends the castles enchanted staff. Unbeknown to Belle, a Prince is trapped inside the form of a beast - but will she be able to recognize his kind heart and soul and free him?
With Michael Pink choreographing, and Philip Feeney composing his score live with Milwaukee Ballet Orchestra, it's a performance which will capture the heart of every generation. Along with stunning scenery and costumes, the production will also feature an international cast of dancers alongside almost eighty children from Milwaukee Ballet School and Academy.
Opening night: 12 April 2018
