MICHAEL PINK'S CHILLING MASTERPIECE RETURNS FOR HALLOWEEN!
The brainchild of acclaimed British choreographer and Milwaukee Ballet's artistic director Michael Pink, Dracula is a very far cry from the ethereal bliss of his earlier work Swan Lake. Dripping with danger, intrigue and sensuous dancing, Bram Stoker's tale of seduction, peril and sacrifice lends itself well to the medium, supplemented by Gothic settings and gorgeous costumes. The production has toured all over the world to rave reviews, and is set to cast a ghostly spell this Halloween once more.
Borrowing elements from both Stoker's chilling novel and the various films depicting the ultimate vampire, Dracula sees the dark lord lusting over Jonathan Harker's wife Mina, whom he believes is a reincarnation of his dead wife. Travelling to England, he ingratiates himself with the family of a local socialite, Lucy Westenra, whom he turns to the dark side, all in pursuit of his beloved. But can his reign of terror be put to an end once and for all?
