Originally hailing from Australia, Grammy-winning Christian Contemporary Music duo For King And Country, aka brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone, have taken their new homeland by storm with soaring praise anthems, emotionally charged lyrics, and a reputation for theatrical, percussive, and high-energy live shows that keep their fan base growing.
Their first record, Crave (released under the name of Joel & Luke) got them on Billboard's "New Artists to Watch" list, and the duo's second, Run Wild. Live Free. Love Strong (and first under the For King & Country name) got them to the Grammys, where it scooped two of the prestigious awards back in 20215. Their third, Burn the Ships, not only repeated this success, but saw them collaborate with none other than Dolly Parton for the lead single God Only Knows! What a great performance! Musicianship was top notch. Percussion everywhere. Very talented at every position. Vocals were remarkable. Hit every note and transcended the studio recordings. Stage show was amazing! So much excitement and energy. The Gospel message was forefront and on point. Such a breath of fresh air to experience a group so on fire for God. Amazing energy for sell out crowd. Great catalog of Christmas songs mixed with fan favorites. Stage performance with all effects made even our upper deck seats feel intimate. From the very beginning the show started to the end, this concert was very entertaining, good vocals, light show was great. And let’s not forget the band, they were also entertaining and talented. Very good lyrics pertaining to the word of God. It was Luke’s birthday and the people in our section sang happy birthday to him, he turned around and gave us a wave. This concert was AWESOME!!!!!
