October 18, 2019

Arguably the first big star to bring Country to a mainstream audience in the 1990s, Black is one of the first artists in a generation that took inspiration from Merle Haggard, Bob Wills, and George Jones, taking rock-oriented pop and mixing it up in a country setting. Offering an easily marketable and squeaky clean image of Country, he smoothed the way for artists after him to come along, particularly Garth Brooks.

Journey back to the golden era of swing with Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. Theirs is a world populated by sharp-suited mobsters and high-class dames, and it's an impossibly cool sound which has seen the band's popularity just keep on rising for over two decades. Continuing in 2019, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy combine the effortless smoothness of the three Louis', Louis Armstrong, Louis Prima and Louis Jordan with their newest album "Louie Louie Louie".

British vocalist and songwriter Roger Hodgson is on tour. As one of the founding members of the progressive rock group Supertramp, he is recognised for his high-pitched singing voice, which became a trademark for the band and led to the hit singles "Dreamer", "Give a Little Bit", "Breakfast in America", "Take the Long Way Home" and "It's Raining Again". Since the demise of the band in 1983 Hodgson has collaborated with artists such as Yes, Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band, as well as acting as mentoring finalists on Canadian Idol in 2006 and during his tour of the country.
