Uihlein Hall, named after the Uihlein family, is the largest theater in the Marcus Center and is designed for events such as operas, musicals, orchestras, and theatrical productions. The theater is also used for meetings, film screenings and lectures. It was renovated in 1997 and has a seating capacity of 2,305, with no center aisle. Uihlein Hall is home to the Milwaukee Ballet Company, the Marcus Center Broadway Company Series, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Florentine Opera Company.
